A 6 track 10" EP with a download of original songs by Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) from the timeless indie film 'Submarine', produced by James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco (released in 2011). * 'Submarine' is the debut film from Richard Ayoade, based on the novel by Joe Dunthorne. It tells the story of a 15-year-old boy who wants to lose his virginity before his next birthday and stop his mother from leaving his father for her dance teacher. * Mainly acoustic guitar and piano-based tracks, Alex Turner shines as a solo artist on this low-key and intimate soundtrack, away from his usual frontman position of the Arctic Monkeys.
