The release will be backed by a 100 episode animated documentary covering the album's wild history. DATAROCK's debut from 2005 was the start of one of Norway's most bizarre international carriers. The self-released album ended up as #36 on NME's albums of the year. It was also nominated for a Norwegian Grammy. Lead single "Computer Camp Love" came in as #88 among Rolling Stone Magazine's songs of the year. In Australia's the same track came in as #12 on Triple J's Hottest 100 (with more than 600.000 people voting). "I Used to Dance With My Daddy" ended up in EA-games such as Need For Speed, FIFA Street & UEFA Euro. "Sex Me Up" was picked up by Hollywood films like "Extreme Movie" featuring Michael Cera. "Princess" became the sound of campaigns for everything from Samsung to Ryanair, "Bulldozer" was in films such as "To Live & Ride in LA", "Computer Camp Love" was in Argentina's cult classic "UPA!" - and "Fa Fa Fa" was heard everywhere from series like Workaholics & Vampire Diaries to films like Ace Ventura, EA-games like FIFA, Sims, NHL & NBA Live, and in international campaigns for everything from Apple & Google to Coca Cola.
